Clair Obscurdle collects the bare minimum. Your game progress stays on your device, analytics are anonymous, and the only possible collection of personal data comes from Google ads.

Your progress (streaks, records, daily games) and your language preference are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This information is never sent to our servers, and you can erase it at any time by clearing the site's data.

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics solution. The statistics collected (page views, device type…) are anonymous and aggregated: they cannot be used to identify you.

Clair Obscurdle is free. The site displays ads provided by Google AdSense, whose revenue is used solely to cover the site's maintenance and hosting costs. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads and, where applicable, personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites.
