How to play Complete mode
Complete mode uses exactly the same rules as Classic mode, but over the whole roster: 114 characters, including the 34 mobs and the 45 chromatic variants that Classic leaves out. Lanceliers, Abbests, Volesters, Chromatic Goblu and every other Nevron you met along the way can be the answer of the day. It is the most demanding mode on the site, made for players who know the bestiary inside out.
The rules in short
- Type a name in the input field: the search accepts English and French names and ignores accents.
- Read the six clues of the new row: Category, Role, Gender, Affiliation, Combat and Zone of first appearance.
- Green means exact, orange partial (at least one shared value in a list of affiliations or fighting styles), red wrong.
- Keep going until you find it: guesses are unlimited, and today's round is saved on your device.
What changes compared with Classic
The only difference is the pool, but it changes the way you play.
- One more role. The “Mob” value only exists in this mode. A green Role on a mob tells you straight away that the answer is an ordinary enemy rather than a boss.
- Chromatic variants. They too can only be played here. All of them have the “Optional Boss” role, keep their base form's category, gender and affiliation, and add “Chroma” to its fighting styles; their zone, on the other hand, almost always differs.
- Far more Nevrons. Most mobs are Nevrons with an “Unknown” gender whose only affiliation is the Nevrons. Those three columns turn green quickly and stop sorting much: Combat and Zone do the real work.
- Busier zones. Spring Meadows, Flying Waters, the Forgotten Battlefield and Visages each host several mobs, so a green Zone there often still leaves a few candidates.
- The first guess matters more. With Chromatic Goblu, 10.7 candidates are left on average after the first guess; opening with Sophie leaves 65.2. The full ranking is in the first-guess analysis.
A sample round
Say the answer is the Lancelier and you open with Chromatic Goblu. Category, Gender and Affiliation turn green; Role, Combat and Zone stay red. In Classic, that profile left only a handful of story bosses. Here, around twenty candidates are still in the running, because the mobs with the same profile that fight with neither brute force nor Chroma fit as well.
Your second guess should therefore target Zone and Combat rather than a random name. Among those candidates, the best pick is a Spring Meadows mob, the Volester: it cuts the field to five or six names on average, against nearly eight for the Évêque, the best-placed boss. If the answer really is the Lancelier, the Volester returns a green Zone and a red Combat: only the Lancelier, the Abbest, the Portier and the Jar remain.
How the answer is picked
Complete mode has its own draw, offset from Classic's so that the two modes' answers are not tied to each other. As everywhere on the site, the answer is the same for everyone, changes at midnight (your device's local time) and cannot come back within the next seven days. Your stats for this mode are kept separately from Classic's.
Limitations
Mob attributes follow the same conventions as the rest of the roster: the zone is where you first meet them, even if the Nevron returns later elsewhere, on the Continent or inside the Monolith. Category, affiliation and fighting style are a hand-made classification; if one looks wrong to you, report it.

Frequently asked questions
- How is it different from Classic mode?
- The pool: 114 characters instead of 35, because the 34 mobs and the 45 chromatic variants are added. Rules and clues are the same.
- Can Classic and Complete have the same answer on the same day?
- The two draws are independent of each other, so a coincidence is possible, but rare.
- Why do three columns often turn green at once?
- Most of the roster is made of Nevrons with an “Unknown” gender, affiliated with the Nevrons. Those green cells mostly confirm that the answer is a Nevron; Combat and Zone then carry most of the information.
- What does the “Mob” role mean?
- An ordinary enemy met in regular fights, as opposed to bosses. This role only exists in Complete mode.
- Does my Classic streak count here?
- No. Each mode keeps its own stats: streak, best streak and number of wins.
