The daily deduction game for Expedition 33 fans
Clair Obscurdle takes the idea behind the "-dle" games that followed Wordle and applies it to the world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Sandfall Interactive's role-playing game. Every day at midnight, five new puzzles await, the same for every player: a character to find from six clues among 35 candidates, the same challenge across the full roster of 114 characters, a line whose speaker you must identify, and a weapon and an enemy to recognise from their picture.
Guesses are unlimited. Every guess sends clues back: green, orange or red cells in Classic and Complete modes, extra hints after a few misses in Quote mode, the owner's label in Weapons mode. Once you find the answer, you can share a result grid that gives nothing away, then keep going in free mode, with no limit and without touching your stats.
Names, quotes and enemy portraits come straight from the game's own files, in English as well as French. The site works without an account: your progress and streaks stay on your device.
How it works
- 1
Pick a canvas
Five modes, five ways to play. If you are new to the site, start with Classic mode: its clues guide you the most.
- 2
Deduce from the clues
Every guess is compared with the answer. Green, orange or red: category, role, affiliation or zone, the list of suspects shrinks with every try.
- 3
Share and come back tomorrow
Copy your grid without revealing the answer, keep your streak going day after day, and find yesterday's answer under the next game.
